The Best Stroller For 3 Kids: Joovy Big Caboose
Our resident stroller tester tested this one – the Joovy Big Caboose – with her twins + toddler and found it to be the best she could find. There are so many different ways to can convert double strollers into triple strollers but it all gets a bit expensive so they were very excited to find this one. She liked that it wasn’t a side-by-side so didn’t have to worry about fitting through standard doorways or not (win!) – and that it wasn’t too heavy when all 3 kids were on board. The Joovy organiser is a must, however she didn’t like that you had to pay extra for it after alreay buying the pram – having 3 kids is expensive!

The Lightest Triple Stroller: Foundations Triple Sport
We got this stroller as it seemed the simplest for our 3 older toddlers – and it definately is. Super easy to assemble and super easy to get the kids in and out. We saw daycare using the 4-seater and are really glad that we invested in the triple seater for our little (big!) fam. Cup holder is handy too for us tired three-toddler mama’s who need a coffee on the go. Now comes the fight as to which child gets the front seat (but you knew that, didn’t you?)!

Tips for Buying a Stroller for 3 Kids
There are many good strollers designed for three children. However, you must first select if you want a twin stroller with an attachment, a triple in-line stroller, or a triple tandem stroller before you begin looking.
Do I Even Need A Triple Stroller?
Even triplet parents don’t always purchase triple strollers. Parents frequently purchase a double stroller and a single stroller since it is difficult for one adult to transport three babies out of the house.
That way, one or two adults can bring one or two children, and two adults can bring all three. A double stroller and a sling is another common choice.
This is fantastic for newborns under six months, but it becomes more difficult and not usually practicable after that. You may have arguments over who rides and who gets carried as they become older.
If you’ve decided you need a triple stroller, the next step is deciding which model to choose – which leads us to the subject of who you’ll be using it for.
Choosing The Type of Triple Stroller
It’s critical to know who you’re buying a triple stroller for before you make your purchase. You may not need a triple stroller for very long if you have a baby and twin toddlers, so a double with the ability to add a third child seat is a decent choice.
If you have a toddler and twin newborns, on the other hand, you’ll almost surely want a double stroller with a third bench seat or at the very least a glide board.
Parents of triplets will want – and likely require – a “true” triple stroller with three identical seats that can be used from birth or at a very young age.
Tandem or Side-by-Side?
Aside from who you’re buying for, you’ll need to determine whether you want a tandem or a side-by-side stroller.
The biggest benefit of a tandem stroller is that it can fit on almost any sidewalk and through most entrances. However, the disadvantage is obvious:
The kids will eventually dispute over who gets to sit where, and these kinds of strollers have a hard time rounding corners
Keep in mind that the parent pushing the stroller will have a tougher time seeing and reaching the youngsters in front of them.
In comparison to tandem strollers, side-by-side strollers provide better access to each child and are often easier to push. The most obvious disadvantage is that side-by-side strollers rarely fit on sidewalks and practically never fit through entrances.
